L&D Coordinator – Training & Development Specialist

About the role

You will join a well‑established utilities management organisation in Cork, supporting the delivery of training and workforce development programmes across multiple regions. The role combines coordination of technical and behavioural learning activities with a strong focus on compliance and data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end scheduling of ProWorks training activities.
• Administer, track and report Lone Worker requirements.
• Manage technical and behavioural training programmes across several locations.
• Maintain accurate data for audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Build and sustain relationships with regional teams, subject‑matter experts and external suppliers.
• Support multiple work streams, ensuring deadlines and priorities are met.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a coordination role (L&D, HR, recruitment, etc.).
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in training coordination, compliance‑focused environments, or safety‑related programmes is desirable.
• Previous exposure to the utilities sector is advantageous but not essential.
• A college degree is preferred, though not mandatory.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced working knowledge).
