Lead Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Surveyor to join our Survey & UAV department in Kilcullen. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality survey outputs, maintaining client relationships and mentoring junior team members while working on a variety of infrastructure and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out field‑based surveying using total stations, GNSS/GPS, data collectors and laser scanners.
• Perform detailed field and office surveying to exacting accuracy standards.
• Process survey data and produce deliverables using post‑processing software and AutoCAD.
• Work on housing developments, roads, greenways and civil‑engineering schemes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring safe and professional project delivery.
• Mentor Assistant Surveyors and junior staff.
• Maintain, calibrate and ensure optimal condition of all survey equipment.
• Adhere to company safety policies, procedures and quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of modern surveying principles and methods.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Right to work in Ireland.
