Lead Youth Development Coach

About the role

Performance Dynamics is seeking a Lead Youth Development Coach to head its Youth Athlete Academy (YAA). You will be the primary point of contact for young athletes aged 10‑14 and their parents, delivering high‑energy sessions that focus on mastering fundamental movement patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and lead daily YAA sessions on the gym floor, teaching squat, hinge, push, pull, jump, land and sprint techniques.
• Assess each athlete’s movement quality, track progress, and adjust programmes within the Performance Dynamics framework.
• Maintain regular communication with parents via WhatsApp, providing clear updates on their child’s development.
• Create social media content and email newsletters to showcase the academy and attract new families.
• Develop relationships with local clubs and community organisations to recruit additional participants.
• Represent Performance Dynamics at community events, parent talks and club visits as needed.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coach fundamental movement skills to youth athletes.
• Experience working with 10‑14‑year‑old athletes and understanding their unique coaching needs.
• Strong communication skills to engage both children and parents effectively.
• Self‑motivated, organized and capable of handling both on‑floor coaching and administrative duties.
