Lecturer – Education Focused Project Management

About the role

UNSW Canberra is seeking an Education‑focused Lecturer in Project Management to deliver high‑quality teaching across its postgraduate and potentially undergraduate programmes. The role involves designing and delivering contemporary courses that inspire students and strengthen their professional capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess students in the UNSW Project Management programmes and the Master of Project Management (Canberra).
• Develop, update and innovate curriculum and course materials.
• Supervise student projects and theses.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the School of Engineering and Technology.
• Explore and implement innovative teaching approaches.

Required profile

• PhD in project management or a closely related discipline, or a master’s degree with substantial teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Relevant industry experience to integrate theory with practice.
• Proven experience in course development and delivery at postgraduate and/or undergraduate level.

What we offer

• Level B salary starting from $127,947 per year (AUD) plus leave loading and superannuation.
