Legal Associate

About the role

Citco is seeking a detail‑oriented Legal Associate to support its legal department within a regulated financial services environment. The role involves managing legal documentation, providing administrative assistance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organise legal files, ensuring accurate version control of agreements and correspondence.
• Manage execution workflow for agreements, circulate execution copies, collect executed pages, and liaise with external counsel.
• Update and maintain precedent and template libraries under legal team direction.
• Track outstanding matters, maintain action logs and status records.
• Prepare draft correspondence and standard form documents for review.
• Liaise with internal teams and external parties to progress documentation and follow up on outstanding items.
• Coordinate with contacts across Luxembourg, Dublin, London, and Malta as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a recognised paralegal qualification.
• At least two years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
• Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving legal processes.
