Legal Executive – Global Risks & Financial Lines

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Legal Executive to join our award‑winning Global Risks/Financial Lines team in Dublin. The role will support litigation matters, work closely with counsel and external experts, and contribute to the smooth operation of a fast‑paced, client‑focused practice.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise directly with counsel (barristers) and external experts on case progression.
• Conduct detailed legal research, analysis, and prepare briefing notes.
• Manage and review large volumes of documentation for eDiscovery exercises.
• Attend court with instructed counsel to assist on the day of hearings.
• Draft correspondence to clients, opposing solicitors, and third parties.
• Prepare pleadings and other court documents for lodgement in the High Court and Commercial Court.
• Maintain accurate, organised file‑management systems.
• Monitor workflows and deadlines proactively.
• Compile court booklets and trial bundles for hearings.
• Draft briefs for counsel and assist with case strategy.
• Support day‑to‑day case management and client communication.
• Contribute to billing narratives, cost tracking, and overall matter management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in litigation, preferably within Global Risks/Financial Lines.
• Strong knowledge of discovery and eDiscovery processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
