Lifeguard – Trainee / Qualified

About the role

Join Center Parcs' Subtropical Swimming Paradise as a Lifeguard, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests. You will uphold the highest health and safety standards while delivering friendly guest care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies and perform rescues.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and enforce health‑and‑safety standards.
• Complete NPLQ training and demonstrate rescue, first‑aid and CPR skills.

Required profile

• Strong swimmer able to pass a swim test (diving, timed front/back swim, independent exit).
• Mid‑week availability; shifts between 8 am‑8 pm, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to undergo Garda vetting.

Required skills

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS qualification (for qualified candidates).
• Completion of a 5‑day NPLQ course (mandatory for trainees).
• First‑aid and CPR competence.
