Lift Engineer – Installation, Maintenance & Service

About the role

We are seeking motivated Lift Engineers to join our growing team in Cork. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of passenger, goods, platform lifts and escalators across Munster.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on lifts and lifting equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform repairs safely and efficiently.
• Service, fault‑find and execute minor repairs on a variety of lift types.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on all work.
• Conduct risk assessments and keep accurate service records.
• Participate in the on‑call rota with standby allowance and call‑out payments.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Lift Engineer.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Desirable: Safe Pass, Manual Handling certification, experience installing lifts.
