Logistics Assistant

About the role

The Logistics Assistant will support daily warehouse operations at Sigma Wireless Communications in Finglas, Dublin. You will ensure that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Unload and load vehicles, receive inbound goods and verify against purchase orders.
• Conduct QC inspections on deliveries for defects.
• Update the system, put away stock, and manage picking of products.
• Check item locations and stock levels using the stock control system.
• Label orders correctly, notify customers of completion, and pack/dispatch shipments.
• Maintain a clean, tidy warehouse and follow health & safety policies.
• Record and upload waste electrical & electronic equipment data to the WEEE portal each month.
• Perform monthly cycle counts, yearly stock counts, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide ad‑hoc support and be available for overtime when required.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Ability to pass all Garda security checks.

Required skills

• Counterbalance forklift licence (essential).
• Knowledge of MRP systems (advantage).
• Manual handling training (advantage, not essential).
