Logistics Coordinator & Office Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator and Office Administrator to join our team at the Brownstown plant in Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. You will play a key part in planning transport schedules, processing orders and supporting daily office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise daily transport and delivery schedules.
• Process customer orders received via phone, email, fax or in person.
• Prepare delivery dockets, allocate drivers and ensure accurate shipment of products.
• Maintain daily shipping records and relevant paperwork for payment transactions.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, production, sales and customers to meet agreed time‑frames.
• Monitor truck utilisation, costs and empty journeys, aiming to meet set targets.
• Manage driver instructions regarding working hours, breaks and rest periods.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, schedule efficiently and think logically.
• Confidence to raise issues and suggest process improvements.
