M&A Attorney – Remote Contract (Legal)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal expertise for high‑value mergers and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target companies and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and securities law matters related to transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Maintain transaction documentation that meets legal standards and mitigates liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership and at least three years of hands‑on M&A experience.
• Proven ability to handle domestic and cross‑border transactions.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing complex legal documents.
