Maintenance Engineer – Electro‑Mechanical & PC‑Based Control Systems

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our service team in Bray. The role involves hands‑on servicing and maintenance of electro‑mechanical and PC‑based control systems across Ireland, with occasional travel to the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits at multiple customer sites.
• Respond to reactive service calls and occasional emergency call‑outs.
• Service, troubleshoot and maintain electro‑mechanical and PC‑based control systems.
• Conduct site surveys to support maintenance planning and forecasting.
• Accurately log activities and produce reports for each visit.
• Represent the company professionally while delivering excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Electrical or IT qualification (trade, diploma or degree).
• Experience in site‑based maintenance, both reactive and preventative.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and hold a full clean driving licence.
• Analytical mindset with strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Windows and general PC systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Access.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) / Building Automation Systems (BAS) and fire alarm systems (desirable).
