Maintenance Engineer – Field Service for CMP Equipment

About the role
Join EBARA Precision Machinery Europe as a Maintenance Engineer working directly on advanced planar semiconductor equipment. You will be based in cleanroom environments, providing on‑site service for Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) systems used in high‑volume chip manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Perform installations, upgrades, repairs and preventive maintenance of CMP capital equipment at customer sites.
- Analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, electrical and software (PLC) issues in a cleanroom setting.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams to resolve complex system problems.
- Manage and control spare‑parts inventory supplied to customers.
- Report system performance and activity status to onsite customers and local management on a weekly basis.
Required profile
- Higher Certificate/Apprenticeship (NFQ level 6) with at least 3 years HVM experience, or Bachelor’s degree (NFQ level 7) with at least 1 year experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow shift patterns that include days and nights.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software components.
