Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

We are seeking a cross‑skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in County Monaghan. The role involves both electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated plant equipment, working Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical breakdowns promptly.
• Perform routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Record maintenance actions and communicate changes to the engineering team.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, including Permit to Work and LOTO systems.
• Support the engineering team in ensuring high‑standard work on a regulated pharmaceutical site.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline within a manufacturing environment.
• Higher engineering qualification is desirable.
• Experience in a regulated or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting is an advantage.
• Logical, organised, able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
