Maintenance Technician – Night Shift (Permanent)

About the role

PCI is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our Stamullen facility on a permanent basis. This night‑shift position (Thursday‑Saturday, 12‑hour shifts) supports the continuous operation of biopharma manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform machine change‑overs, address stoppages and breakdowns promptly to meet production targets.
• Execute planned routine maintenance and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to an expert level.
• Program PLCs and contribute to technical projects that improve or create new processes.
• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and equipment upgrades.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, create MOCs, and manage documentation through the QMS.
• Participate in A3 problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and equipment redesign.
• Maintain clean, tidy, and secure maintenance areas and ensure safe work practices.

Required profile

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a GMP environment.
• Ability to work night shifts and respond quickly to urgent breakdowns.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Good communication skills to liaise with engineering and production teams.
