Manager - Cyber Security Operations

About the role

Carne is seeking a Manager to lead its Cyber Security Operations in Dublin. The role will shape and enforce security policies, oversee a team of security professionals, and ensure the organization’s assets and data remain protected against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, procedures and standards.
• Lead and manage a security operations team, including hiring, training and performance management.
• Conduct security risk assessments and drive mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to embed security across the business.
• Coordinate incident response and lead investigations of security events.
• Stay current with security trends and integrate relevant technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations engineering.
• Proven experience managing security teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce security policies and conduct risk assessments.
• Strong communication, client‑centric mindset and strategic problem‑solving skills.
