About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Product Experience & Design to lead the next‑generation CXD Squad within its Global SME division. The role focuses on creating AI‑driven, agentic experiences that help small and medium businesses scale and thrive in a digital economy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype innovative user experiences for Mastercard’s SME product portfolio.
• Drive the development and evolution of design systems and component libraries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including product, engineering, data science, and behavioral science—to translate business goals into user‑centric solutions.
• Integrate AI‑enabled workflows that enable proactive assistance and collaboration for end users.
• Lead design thinking workshops and champion user‑first methodologies across the squad.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product experience and design leadership, preferably within a technology or financial services environment.
• Strong product thinking combined with hands‑on design craft.
• Fluency in emerging AI‑driven design workflows and a passion for building user‑centric solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
