Manager, Transaction Management – EMEA

About the role

The Transaction Management Lead will drive end‑to‑end real estate transactions across the EMEA region, supporting Johnson & Johnson’s portfolio optimisation and business strategy. Reporting to the Regional Real Estate Delivery Lead, the role works in a hybrid model based in Leeds with alternative locations in Ireland or Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Execute real estate transactions including leases, renewals, expansions, acquisitions and dispositions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of each transaction, ensuring timely delivery, financial targets and alignment with portfolio strategy.
• Lead commercial negotiations and deal structuring with landlords, developers and third‑party providers.
• Partner with business leaders, Real Estate, Facilities Management, EH&S and Global Security to translate demand into actionable transaction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with governance, financial and regulatory requirements throughout the transaction process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex real estate transactions and portfolio optimisation.
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and senior business leaders.
• Excellent negotiation and deal‑structuring capabilities.
• Solid understanding of financial targets, compliance and governance in real estate.
