Managing Director – Food Service

About the role

REM Associates Ltd is seeking a Managing Director to lead and grow its Food Service division in Dublin. This full‑time, on‑site position will be responsible for shaping strategy, driving commercial performance and ensuring operational excellence across logistics and fulfilment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans, manage P&L and deliver revenue and margin growth.
• Build and maintain key customer and supplier relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee logistics, supply chain and fulfilment service standards to meet high‑quality expectations.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, set performance targets and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align division goals with overall company objectives and represent the business at industry events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial background with P&L responsibility, business development and contract negotiation in food service or related sectors.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or 3PL environments with solid understanding of fulfilment operations.
• Strategic planning capability, including market analysis and long‑term business planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Management or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
