Manufacturing Operator – General Operator (Shannon)

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join a busy production facility in Shannon, Co. Clare. The role is a temporary fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension, working 39 hours per week on a day shift. You will support the manufacturing line by handling orders, operating equipment and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer orders, pull materials and pack boxes for shipment.
• Place completed orders in the designated delivery area of the warehouse.
• Operate production machines in line with the schedule and quality targets, recording any adjustments.
• Maintain accurate logs of work performed and complete required process documentation.
• Ensure the work environment complies with safety, housekeeping and 5S standards.

Required profile

• Background in life‑science or medical‑device manufacturing.
• Experience in warehouse picking and handling pick‑sheet information.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Fluent English with strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

Required skills

• Machine operation on a production line.
• Use of handheld scanning devices.
