Manufacturing Operator – Production & Packaging

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator will join Stryker’s production team in Macroom, delivering high‑quality medical devices through manufacturing, inspection and packaging activities. You will work in a regulated environment following standard operating procedures to ensure product safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, package and label medical device components in line with SOPs.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment to verify engineering specifications.
• Complete production records, maintenance logs and device history reviews.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Perform final inspection activities, including finished‑goods checks and DHR review.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, proper equipment use and compliance with line‑clearance and quality pillars.

Required profile

• Leaving Certificate, Trade qualification or equivalent education.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing or machine environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Use of precision measuring equipment for component inspection.
