Manufacturing Plant Manager (Donegal)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our Donegal site. This senior leadership position holds end‑to‑end responsibility for safety, quality, production, supply chain, maintenance, logistics and financial performance. You will drive a high‑performance culture while continuously improving efficiency, employee engagement and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall site operations covering safety, quality, production, supply chain, maintenance, logistics and finance.
• Deliver strong KPI performance across safety, quality, service, cost and people.
• Manage budgets, control costs and achieve financial targets.
• Champion Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and waste reduction.
• Own S&OP alignment – demand planning, capacity planning, inventory optimisation and new product introduction.
• Implement process improvements to boost efficiency, ROI and overall plant performance.
• Build and sustain a high‑performance, accountable team culture.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Sales, Product Development and other sites.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring operational alignment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior manufacturing leader in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong track record in operational performance, cost control and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading S&OP processes and driving cross‑functional alignment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
• Solid financial acumen with budget management and profitability focus.
• Good understanding of plant safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Degree in Business, Engineering or Operations Management (MBA desirable).
