Manufacturing Process Engineer – Night Shift

About the role
This position is for a Manufacturing Process Engineer working the night shift in a plant environment. The role focuses on maintaining equipment uptime, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and utilities.
- Maintain engineering documentation and support equipment validation activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors, including issuing permits.
- Support equipment and process improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with building, facility, and equipment standards.
- Prepare departmental metrics and reports using systems such as CMSNext, POEE, DHM, BMS, and CTMS.
- Promote safe working practices and adhere to all EHS standards.
- Participate in incident investigations and drive safety improvements.
Required profile
- Trade certification or relevant third‑level qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or technical roles within healthcare or food processing.
- Strong organisational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage timelines and work independently or as part of a team.
