About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our engineering team on the night shift at a state‑of‑the‑art healthcare manufacturing facility. You will play a key part in maintaining equipment uptime, supporting validation activities, and driving continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and efficiency.
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment and site utilities.
- Assist with equipment validation and maintain up‑to‑date engineering documentation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to deliver engineering activities.
- Monitor engineering performance metrics and prepare departmental reports.
- Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
- Participate in incident investigations and support corrective‑action implementation.
Required profile
- Trade qualification or relevant third‑level engineering qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a regulated environment such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, diagnostics, or food production.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
