Manufacturing Technician – Night Shift (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will work the night shift on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting the production team to meet OEE and TLR targets. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment safety, performing preventive maintenance, and reacting quickly to unscheduled downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Valeo safety procedures, wear PPE, apply LOTO, and participate in emergency response.
• Respond to equipment failures, document issues using 5W2H, implement containment, and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Log downtime, generate shift reports, and support TPM activities.
• Maintain and update preventive‑maintenance schedules, ensure spare parts availability, and adhere to 5S standards.
• Share information across shifts, conduct effective handovers, and provide training to fellow technicians.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve equipment performance and reduce setup/changeover times.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Familiarity with in‑circuit and functional testing and PC‑based test systems.
