Mechanical Contracts Manager – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join a growing M&E contractor in Dublin. Reporting to the Mechanical Division Director, you will oversee contracts from tender through to handover, ensuring projects meet quality, time, and budget targets across sectors such as commercial, hospitality, healthcare and more.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full bid process and contract administration from tender stage to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, PQS, and clients to align design and delivery.
• Allocate labour, schedule materials, and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and site foremen.
• Control project financials, including progress claims, valuations and final accounts.
• Support the Health & Safety Manager and provide on‑site safety leadership.

Required profile

• 3rd Level qualification (Technician level or higher) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent trade qualifications with extensive experience.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar contracts management role.
• Strong planning, organisational and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with estimating software (advantageous).
