Mechanical Fitter – 4‑day week (Thu‑Sun)

About the role

This permanent position is for a Mechanical Fitter who wants a four‑day work week (Thursday to Sunday) with a leading manufacturing and energy company operating across Scotland and Northern Ireland. You will be based in Enniskillen, maintaining critical processing machinery to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on large‑scale processing equipment.
• Perform routine compliance checks to ensure machinery safety.
• Diagnose faults, conduct inspections and testing, and repair mechanical components such as gearboxes, pumps and conveyors.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and downtime.

Required profile

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter with experience in industrial environments.
• Willingness to work a Thursday‑to‑Sunday shift (7:00‑17:30) totaling 40 hours per week.
• Desire for a stable, long‑term role with opportunities for overtime and progression.
