MES Designer – Life Sciences (Hybrid, Dublin/Cork)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MES Designer to join our life sciences team in Ireland. Working in a hybrid model from Dublin or Cork, you will design and implement Manufacturing Execution Systems for leading pharmaceutical, biotech and medical‑device manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy MES solutions for life‑sciences manufacturing environments.
• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to capture user requirements and deliver digital manufacturing solutions.
• Author and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR) within MES platforms.
• Support integration of MES with ERP systems and shop‑floor control equipment.
• Document MES configurations and assist validation activities in line with regulated industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on MES experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical‑device manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FDA, GMP and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross‑functional teamwork.

Required skills

• Experience with at least one MES platform such as Körber PAS‑X, Emerson Syncade, Rockwell PharmaSuite, Siemens XFP, POMS or Camstar.
• Electronic Batch Records (EBR) authoring and configuration.
• MES‑ERP integration.
• Knowledge of regulated industry requirements (FDA, GMP, SDLC).
