MES Engineer – Pharmaceutical Sector

About the role

Réalta Technologies is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to join the team supporting a leading pharmaceutical client in Cork. The role focuses on the design, implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution System solutions that enable efficient, compliant production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure MES applications to meet the client’s manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality and IT teams to integrate MES with equipment and enterprise systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure that MES solutions comply with pharmaceutical regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Background in the pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MES platforms and related integration technologies.
