Mobile Field Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Field Service Engineer to deliver on‑site maintenance and repair for a range of client IT equipment across a large geographical area in Ireland. You will work independently, travelling to client sites to ensure their laptops, desktops and all‑in‑one devices are operating at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair laptops, desktops and all‑in‑one devices.
• Follow best‑practice standards and apply common‑sense solutions.
• Use escalation and support processes to resolve complex service issues.
• Collaborate with the local team to provide efficient service to all accounts in the assigned area.
• Lift and carry parts weighing up to 25 kg.
• Comply with current regulatory requirements and company administration procedures, including overtime, expenses and mileage declarations.

Required profile

• IT qualification (e.g., diploma or equivalent).
• Minimum three years’ experience diagnosing and repairing IT equipment.
• Proven ability to respond to customer concerns and deliver reliable service.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Self‑directed, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
• Ethical and trustworthy with a detail‑oriented approach.
