Newly Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a large national organisation to bring a newly qualified accountant into their busy finance function. The role sits in an operational finance environment and is ideal for candidates with experience in industry, shared services, audit or finance operations who enjoy process‑driven, systems‑focused work.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close and produce financial reports.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support revenue, cash‑flow and financial control activities.
• Work with SAP/ERP systems and drive process improvements.
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operational and finance teams on stakeholder management.
• Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong experience in month‑end and reconciliation tasks.
• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel and analytical abilities.
• Background in fast‑paced finance environments.
• Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills.
