About the role
We are partnering with a successful group based in West Dublin to recruit a newly qualified accountant. This position provides a broad exposure to core finance activities, allowing the successful candidate to support the finance team in both routine and strategic tasks while developing a solid foundation in accounting practices.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with month‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions.
- Prepare cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity positions and highlight any variances.
- Support the budgeting cycle, including data collection, consolidation and variance analysis.
- Contribute to financial analysis and reporting, providing insights to senior stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments, responding to queries and facilitating smooth financial operations.
Required profile
- Newly qualified accountant with 0‑1 year post‑qualification experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of building complex models and reports.
- Self‑starter attitude with a strong eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
