Night Porter – Guest Services & Security

About the role

The Night Porter at Ballygarry Estate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout the overnight hours while maintaining the safety and security of the property. This role combines front‑desk duties with basic housekeeping and ensures a smooth experience for guests arriving late or departing early.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist overnight guests, providing a courteous and efficient check‑in/check‑out process.
• Maintain security and safety of the premises during the night shift.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Handle late arrivals and early departures, ensuring accurate billing and documentation.
• Perform basic housekeeping and routine maintenance tasks to keep rooms and public areas tidy.
• Uphold the hotel’s confidentiality and integrity at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel services preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
