Night Porter

About the role

The Night Porter will join the Front Office team at Sheen Falls Lodge, providing attentive service and ensuring the safety and security of guests and the property throughout the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage items requested by guests during night hours.
• Manage the reception desk, answer phones, and respond to guest queries.
• Maintain cleanliness of front‑of‑house areas.
• Handle any difficult incidents in collaboration with the Duty Manager.
• Monitor fire safety systems and be prepared to act in emergencies.
• Control access to the hotel and protect hotel property at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar night‑porter or front‑office role, preferably in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel.
• Excellent guest service and communication abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Ideally a clean EU or Irish driver’s licence.
