Nursing Educator – Training & Development

About the role

The Nursing Educator will design, deliver and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring safe, high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership to mentor nurses, promote continuous professional growth, and support the organization’s excellence goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct orientation programs for newly recruited nurses.
• Deliver mandatory in‑service education and specialty‑specific training to maintain compliance with hospital standards.
• Facilitate ongoing clinical training, competency assessments and skill analyses to identify performance gaps.
• Lead Quality Improvement training initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
• Coordinate online refresher courses and ensure timely completion by all staff.
• Plan and conduct nursing audits to evaluate practices, identify improvement areas and ensure quality and safety compliance.

Required profile

• M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution with Delhi Nursing Council registration.
• 10+ years of experience in teaching, training or a 200‑plus‑bed hospital setting.
• Proven experience in nursing education, competency development and clinical training programs.
• Training or certification in Nursing Education, Leadership or Quality Improvement (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of hospital accreditation standards (NABH, JCI, NABL).
• Excellent communication, presentation and mentoring abilities.
