Operations Business Unit Manager – Healthcare Supply Chain

About the role

This senior leadership position manages end‑to‑end supply chain operations for Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland, overseeing field technicians, customer service, and warehousing teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to multidisciplinary teams (Field Technicians, Customer Service, Warehousing) and foster a patient‑first culture.
• Oversee field operations to ensure timely equipment installation, maintenance, and compliance with healthcare safety standards.
• Lead the Customer Service department to optimise the order‑to‑delivery journey and resolve complex escalations.
• Manage inventory integrity, procurement cycles, and warehouse throughput to minimise waste and maximise stock availability.
• Drive business performance through KPI monitoring, labour productivity, stock accuracy and SLA compliance.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process optimisation to reduce operational costs while maintaining care quality.
• Ensure all operations meet private healthcare regulatory standards and internal Quality Management Systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of management experience in the private healthcare sector.
• Proven track record managing diverse, remote field‑based and office‑based teams.
• Deep understanding of ERP systems, CRM software and supply‑chain logistics platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Healthcare Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
