About the role
Kanadevia Inova is seeking an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Maintenance Manager for its Waste‑to‑Energy plant on the Poolbeg peninsula in Dublin. The role leads the plant’s maintenance department, ensuring reliable operation, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and meeting production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Directly supervise maintenance engineers and oversee daily maintenance activities.
- Maintain plant availability in line with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with operations and purchasing to diagnose, solve, and repair equipment and process systems.
- Provide technical expertise for equipment upgrades, system design changes, and reliability improvements.
- Develop and enforce governance for spare‑parts inventory, asset management, and maintenance planning.
Required profile
- Technical degree, diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Broad supervisory experience across maintenance functions, including spare‑parts control.
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Proven experience with maintenance asset management and inventory optimisation.
