Operations Technician – GMP Production & Logistics

About the role

The GMP Operations Technician will support day‑to‑day production and logistics activities at our Rathcoole facility. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance of equipment, ensuring reliable, compliant operations in a fast‑paced drug development environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute planned and reactive maintenance for production and logistics equipment.
• Schedule, coordinate and oversee external technical contractors to resolve technical problems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults on packaging and labelling equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment in production and logistics areas.
• Work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
• Perform scheduled facilities checks, including generator and sprinkler system inspections.
• Participate in site infrastructure upgrades and building improvement projects.
• Contribute to cost‑reduction and energy‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EHS standards and maintain accurate records.
• Report near‑miss incidents to the EHS department and manage QMS documentation.

Required profile

• Full‑time, on‑site availability at the Rathcoole (D24) location.
• Valid full driving licence and personal vehicle, or residence within a commutable distance.
• Experience in maintenance of production or logistics equipment in a GMP environment.
• Familiarity with EHS and QMS compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with external contractors.
