Operative – Days Shift in Timber Processing

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Operative to join our timber processing team on a days‑only schedule. You will work in a friendly, sociable environment, operating and maintaining machinery that produces premium timber products for blue‑chip clients across the UK and Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Setup and operate timber processing machinery
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment (training provided)
- Inspect finished timber products for quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures
Required profile
- Experience in manual or industrial work
- Willingness to work a days‑only schedule (Monday‑Thursday 6:15 am‑4:15 pm, Friday 6:15 am‑10:00 am)
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
Required skills
- Operation of timber processing machinery
- Basic equipment maintenance
- Product inspection
