Pack Assistant – Retail Stock & Merchandising

About the role
The Pack Assistant supports the smooth operation of a Centra store by merchandising, rotating and facing stock while upholding hygiene and food safety standards. This part‑time position is based on‑site in Costelloe, Co Galway.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the store’s visual standards by merchandising and presenting all departments to the highest level.
- Rotate stock and ensure correct labelling according to company procedures.
- Check deliveries against goods‑inward procedures and record accurately.
- Collaborate with the Floor Manager on layout changes, end‑caps and side displays.
- Keep the back‑store tidy, organised and properly packed away.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
