Part II Architectural Assistant – Dublin

About the role

Hawkins\Brown is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to join its Dublin studio. You will work within interdisciplinary teams on a variety of projects, contributing ideas and developing designs that address social and environmental challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to develop design concepts.
• Produce coherent architectural drawings and 3D visualisations.
• Assist with building technology research, regulatory compliance, and planning processes.
• Support the preparation of documentation for client presentations and approvals.
• Engage with project teams to ensure health & safety and professional duty of care standards are met.

• Strong design thinking with the ability to develop clear, well‑resolved ideas.
• Curiosity, initiative and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
• Collaborative, open and generous approach to teamwork.
• Clear communication skills and ability to engage with diverse perspectives.
• Genuine interest in the social and environmental impact of architecture.

Required skills

• Excellent 2D CAD skills.
• Excellent 3D CAD skills.
• Desktop publishing (DTP) proficiency.
• Experience using Revit.
• Knowledge of CAD standards.
