Part Qualified Accountant – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a part‑qualified accountant to join a globally recognised PLC on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract in Dublin. This position offers full exposure to end‑to‑end accounting within a supportive finance function and is ideal for a trainee or early‑career professional looking to transition from practice to industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements for global entities.
• Execute bank reconciliations and monthly GL account reconciliations with commentary.
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
• Provide analysis and support for external and internal audits.
• Maintain pre‑payments and manage monthly releases.
• Prepare quarterly schedules, balance‑sheet analytics and related commentary for senior management and audit committee.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with practice or industry experience in a multinational environment.
• Enthusiastic about developing accounting knowledge.

Required skills

• SAP (advantageous).
• Proficient in MS Outlook.
• Advanced Excel skills.
