Part Qualified Accountant – Chartered Accountancy Firm

About the role

We are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join our reputable chartered accountancy firm in Meath. You will work on a variety of client accounts, supporting both audit and non‑audit engagements while developing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare year‑end non‑audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet items such as VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets; assist with year‑end close‑out and journal entries.
• Liaise confidently with clients by phone and written correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Support the manager on special client projects and, optionally, audit assignments.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACA or ACCA member.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a professional accounting firm.
• Results‑driven with strong financial acumen and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
