Part Qualified Accountant (PLC)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑qualified accountant to join a globally recognised PLC’s finance team in Dublin on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. The role offers full exposure to end‑to‑end accounting within a supportive, rapidly expanding finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for global entities.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliation of several GL accounts, providing commentary.
• Prepare and reconcile VAT returns.
• Support external and internal audits with analysis and documentation.
• Maintain pre‑payments and execute monthly releases.
• Prepare quarterly schedules, balance‑sheet analytics and related commentary for senior management and audit committee.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with practice or industry experience in a multinational environment.
• Enthusiastic about developing accounting knowledge.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (advantage).
• Strong use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
