Part‑Time Clinical Call Centre Nurse

About the role

Vhi Health & Wellbeing is seeking a part‑time Clinical Call Centre Nurse to join its Naas Road call centre. You will be the first clinical point of contact for members, providing triage, advice and referrals while ensuring a high‑quality healthcare experience.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the clinical call‑centre nursing process and make independent clinical decisions when required.
• Conduct phone triage using designated protocols and clinical decision‑support software.
• Prioritise patients, provide advice, treatment options and sign‑post to appropriate facilities.
• Document each encounter in the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and initiate follow‑up communications.
• Support non‑clinical colleagues and act as a patient advocate.
• Maintain nursing skills through rotation across Vhi nursing departments.
• Respond to physician referral requests and urgent‑care appointment needs.

Required profile

• Ability to work a flexible 24/7 schedule on a part‑time basis.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to follow standardised triage protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
