Part‑Time Control Room Operator – Alarm Monitoring

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Control Room Operator to join our Alarm Receiving Centre in Sandyford, Dublin. You will monitor alarm and CCTV signals, liaise with emergency services and support customers, ensuring a rapid and professional response to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Process alarm signals and CCTV activations from customer premises.
• Contact key‑holders, Gardaí and emergency services according to client protocols.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from installers, end‑users and emergency services.
• Assist installers and users with monitoring‑related queries.
• Conduct CCTV camera patrols, record and report faults during each shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe and operational work environment.
• Perform any additional security‑related duties assigned by the control‑room supervisor.

Required profile

• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent time‑management and written/ verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and the public.
• Flexible, dependable team player with business maturity.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts covering nights, days and weekends.
