About the role
Join EUROSPAR Barnhall in Leixlip as a part‑time Deli Assistant, working 30 hours per week across five days. You will prepare high‑quality hot and cold deli products while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders across all fresh‑food areas, including making sandwiches, rolls, hot dishes and slicing meats.
- Cook, prepare and display foods sold throughout the day.
- Maintain high‑standard counter displays in all fresh‑food departments.
- Share product knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with shoppers.
- Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and manage HACCP procedures.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous customer‑service experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment and multitask under pressure.
- Passion for food and flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
