Passenger Bookings Coordinator

About the role

Join a fast‑growing passenger ferry organisation as a Passenger Bookings Coordinator. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end process for group and indirect channel bookings, ensuring a smooth and accurate travel experience for passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bookings received through OTAs, tour operators and other third‑party partners.
• Coordinate group bookings from initial enquiry through to travel, handling amendments, cancellations and payments.
• Maintain detailed passenger lists, name changes and special travel requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for group organisers and booking partners.
• Provide prompt, courteous responses to booking queries.
• Become an expert user of the Carus booking system and keep records up to date.
• Identify and suggest improvements to booking processes.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Commercial and Contact Centre teams.
• Support reporting on booking volumes and assist during service disruptions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in bookings, reservations or operations within travel, tourism, transport or hospitality.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Calm, customer‑focused approach when handling enquiries.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Carus booking system (or similar reservation platforms).
