Patient Care Specialist

About the role

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to join its field‑based operations team. The role involves installing, training, and supporting home‑care respiratory equipment for patients across the Western Region of Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and install home‑care devices such as CPAP, NIV, invasive ventilation, diagnostics and cough assist at patients' homes and hospital locations.
• Provide training, compliance monitoring and follow‑up visits for patients and clinicians, including telephone support and feedback to prescribing centres.
• Support clinical training and educational workshops in key regional centres and attend respiratory conferences as required.
• Assist the respiratory business in the Western region and adapt the role for new product introductions.

Required profile

• Qualified nurse with experience in hospital, nursing home and/or home‑care settings.
• Professional, empathetic manner with excellent organisational, communication and record‑keeping abilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to build strong relationships with key customers (desirable).
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CPAP, NIV and invasive ventilation equipment.
• Experience with diagnostics and cough assist devices.
• Computer literacy and practical IT skills.
