People & Culture Officer / HR Generalist

About the role

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will support the full employee lifecycle for a growing family‑owned business. Working closely with managers across retail and production, you will help create a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee induction processes.
• Assist with employee relations queries and general HR administration.
• Manage contracts, employee records and compliance documentation.
• Support payroll and time‑and‑attendance processes.
• Assist with immigration and employment permit administration where required.
• Contribute to training, performance and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and internal policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR, People Operations or HR Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with strong confidentiality standards.
• Proactive, approachable and able to work well in a team environment.
